I think it is a great idea for Edmodo to have a mobile app. My students are always excited to use their phones, and some even respond to message boards from there. I agree that it will take you a lot of prep work, but I think it will be beneficial if you are teaching the same preps the following year, and it will save you time during the year as well. Great idea to add resource and aide for each lesson because students will definitely utilize this. I love the daily discussion board questions idea to help engage students.
Edmodo sounds so cool. I didn't know about the Android App. I like that it allows you to post your syllabi and assignments for the various classes that you teach. I'm going to have to seriously consider using this next year. Thanks for the introduction/review of the the site!
